6 Sigma Black & Green Belt Certification

McPherson Lean Partners has certicate programs for APQP and Green Belt Certification.   The certification requires 12 to 15 days of class work and 3 to 6 projects for the team, and one project for each participant.   3 to 6 of the projects are completed as part of the group training.  And one project is completed by the individual as their Green belt certification project.

We have certified or have in process 50+ Green belts, and as a group have completed over 67+ projects.   The group projects have saved an average $161,000 per year in cash and a full formula cost savings of $302,000.   The greatest savings are usually in lead time, inventory, and scrap reductions.  The individual projects must save $75,000 per year in cash or costs.

The average Green belt certification takes 4 months depending on the individual and the time they spend working on the project.

Black belt certifications (for those who wish to tackle the more difficult projects).    This requires an additiona 1 week of classwork part of which is Mini Tab training,  and requires that the indivdiual complete a more difficult individual project that includes at least one Design of Experiments.
